Account Director

£35,000 – £60,000 base salary (with uncapped commission)
Remote | 4-day work week

Fortuna UK is proudly working with a fast-moving, high-growth IT Partner to recruit an experienced Account Director to join their growing team. This company offers tailored IT solutions, specialising in transactional sales across cloud, cybersecurity, networking, managed services, and telecommunications. They provide businesses with cutting-edge technology solutions and have built a reputation for speed, efficiency, and strong vendor partnerships.

This role is suited to a driven sales professional with a proven track record in reseller sales, looking for a high-earning, fast-paced environment. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for bringing in new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

This is a fully remote position, operating on a four-day workweek with uncapped earning potential.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage new and existing client relationships, driving revenue and repeat business.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Work closely with vendors and distributors to offer the best solutions for clients.
  • Identify new market opportunities to maximise profitability.
  • Monitor performance and ensure targets are consistently met.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in IT sales, specifically within a VAR or reseller (not an MSP).
  • A highly transactional sales background, with a strong focus on repeat business.
  • Existing transferable business—candidates must be able to generate revenue quickly.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach, with a focus on closing high-value deals.
  • Candidates must be in a full-time role. The only exception would be if their company had gone into administration or a similar situation.

 

What’s on Offer

  • £35,000 – £60,000 base salary, depending on experience and expected Y1 sales.
  • Uncapped commission.
  • No commission threshold for the first six months – 25% of everything from pound one.
  • Four-day workweek (4 x 7-hour days) after probation.
  • 100% remote working, with in-person company events throughout the year.
  • Private healthcare, including mental health support, after probation.
  • 23 days holiday plus birthday off, increasing up to 28 days with tenure.
  • Certified Carbon Neutral Plus company (Scope 1 & 2).
