We’re working with a growing IT solutions provider to recruit a Sales Consultant to drive new business and client acquisition. This company is ambitious, with a turnover of £2.6 million and a team of 26 professionals. They focus on delivering Network and Security solutions, including Hardware, Software Licensing, Professional Services, and Managed Services, to industries such as Financial Services, Legal, Manufacturing, and Utilities (500–3,000 users).
This role reports directly to the Business Owners, giving you a unique opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth and direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Business Development – Generate leads and drive client acquisition through targeted sales strategies.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals – Deliver persuasive presentations and customised proposals to potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Product & Service Knowledge – Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s offerings and stay updated on industry trends.
- Sales Targets & Reporting – Achieve and exceed sales targets while providing regular performance reports and accurate forecasts.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams – Work with technical teams to understand services, integrate feedback, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Contract Negotiation & Closing – Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring clarity on terms and contractual agreements.
- Post-Sale Support & Follow-Up – Nurture relationships after the sale, identify further opportunities, and ensure long-term client success.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT sales with a proven record of winning new business.
- Successful experience selling Network and Security solutions, including Cyber, Software Licensing, and Managed Services.
- Confidence engaging and influencing C-Suite decision-makers.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse sales metrics for performance improvement.
- A self-motivated and collaborative approach, able to work independently and drive results.
