Sales Exec

Your role is to be a dedicated, focused, and experienced sales development individual. You will be passionate about creating, developing, and qualifying new customers, working with them to convert to demo, deal and close. You will be working closely with the director responsible for channel sales and the marketing lead to set targets, plan effective sales and marketing strategies, run campaigns and set objectives.

 

The ideal candidate has experience selling into the education sector, together with a proven sales track record.

 

This is a work from home position and being self-motivated with the ability to work independently is vital.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Generate warm leads and convert to qualified leads through phone, email, web and social media.
  • Partnering closely with our channel manager to provide a consistent flow of qualified sales leads to take through to a close.
  • Manage and update your leads within our CRM as part of the sales cycle.
  • Develop expert knowledge of our customers’ needs and our products.
  • Develop your knowledge to confidently advise prospective customers on how to maximise their digital signage
  • Work with educators and support staff to understand their challenges and help them see our platform’s value.
  • Continually work to improve your sales skills through regular coaching, training, and review cycles with the team dedicated to your success.

 

Who you are

  • Have previous sales or customer service experience, especially prospecting and customer outreach.
  • Have direct experience of selling to education markets.
  • Bring a competitive, curious mindset and a natural sense of urgency
  • Be passionate about making a difference in education.
  • Use exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Thrive in a rapid-growth and fast-paced environment.
  • Believe in following a process and remain agile to change and improvement.
  • You understand the SaaS product marketplace and selling subscription-based products.
